Job Description:

Job duties:

Identify the most appropriate message regarding the target population
Write a clear and understandable message
Evaluate the necessary material needed for a campaign/session.
Identify problems and provide sustainable changes in WASH Knowledge, Aptitudes, and Practices to the local communities especially for children.
Mobilize the Children and community to change behavior regarding hygiene practices.
Creation and follow-up of WASH Committees and their performance in the Informal Settlements
Convince all household and CFSs children of the importance of good hygiene practice
Ensure the work is properly done and the material use wisely
Participate in hygiene campaigns, doing shows in gatherings and at the community level
Animate focus group, giving a clear message on good hygiene practices
Provide professional and confidential services to survivors of GBV and CP;
Document client information through the accurate filling of intake and consent forms and ensure confidential and safe storage.
Report the progress of the work to the supervisor
Report possible problems or conflicts during the activities
Report the use of materials and possible improvement
Data collection regarding the project and potential beneficiaries
Any other official related tasks may assign to him/her


Job Requirements:

  • Three years experience with a bachelor’s degree in any relevant degree.
  • Knowledge of hygiene education & child protection operations.
  • Experience working with UN Projects is an asset.
  • Ability to set priorities and manage time effectively.
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Knowledge of the humanitarian operations
  • Flexible, confident, and able to handle multi-tasks
  • Fluency in local languages and excellent reporting skill in English is required
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills includin
  •  Priority will be given to the current residents of Momand Dara, Lalpura, Dur Baba, and Shinwari districts.
